Nasila Rehman

Mizan Practitioner

My name is Nasila Rehman and I am a mother of 4 children. I have studied and practised various holistic wellbeing therapies, foremost as a graduate holding a Bsc in Acupuncture and as a member of British acupuncture council.

My worldly experience having studied in the UK, southern Asia and China has culminated in the successful establishment known as, Dandelion Wellness Centre in Holborn. This little oasis offers a variety of aesthetic and wellbeing services and products, including: acupuncture, cupping, massage, ear candling, Environ and Neals Yard Facials, body piercings, organic produce and now Mizan Therapy.

In 2015 a wonderful opportunity presented itself to me when I was cherry picked by the Homerton hospital to assist with a fertility study entitled “The impact of acupuncture on IVF success rates”.  The significant results supported the hypothesis that women who were treated with acupuncture as an adjunctive to IVF were better able to conceive than women who simply underwent IVF alone. This study was presented and received recognition in 2016 in Helsinki, Finland at the annual HFEA (Human Fertilisation Embryology Authority) Conference.

Acclaim in my field of work came about in 2016 when I was awarded the Harberdashers guild award for entrepreneurial excellence. Since then my interest in fertility has grown allowing me to access many opportunities to improve my knowledge and skills. Having visited “The Fertility show” at Olympia which showcases medical and complementary fertility services, my ideas in this field have grown and positively impacted my client base.

In my quest to adopt an eastern fertility massage techniques which would allow women to reclaim and embrace womanhood, I came across Mizan Therapy, the accomplishment of Bushra Finch, who has successfully combined her extensive knowledge in various cultural paradigms to bring forth this restorative treatment for reproductive and digestive healing.

My ethos is very in line with the great alchemists and minds such as Avicenna:

“There are no incurable diseases — only the lack of will. There are no worthless herbs — only the lack of knowledge”.

My other great pastime is the delectably, kaleidoscopic, joy, of running a quaint bookclub known as the “passionate pageturners”.
